The Serra da Lousã has 225 km2, of which 15,158 ha are classified as "Site da Rede Natura 2000".

Its highest point is Trevim (1200m/alt) and 12 of the 27 Schist Villages are located in Serra da Lousã.

Each of these villages has a particular charm and invites you to take a long visit, asking that time pass slowly, just like life in those villages was.
